Nurturing Your Post-Treatment Results

To prolong the restorative benefits of your Hyora treatment and support your body’s natural healing process, we highly recommend following these gentle aftercare guidelines for the next 24 to 48 hours:

For Massage Treatments:

Hydrate generously: Drink plenty of water throughout the rest of the day. This helps your kidneys process and flush out the metabolic waste products released from your muscles during the massage.

Take it easy: Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or high-intensity workouts for the next 24 hours. Allow your muscles time to rest, recover, and integrate the benefits of the treatment.

Rest and relax: You may feel beautifully relaxed or even a little tired. Listen to your body and enjoy a quiet evening.

Avoid alcohol and caffeine: Try to skip these for today, as they can have a dehydrating effect on the body and interfere with the relaxation process.

Eat a light meal: Opt for something nourishing but easy to digest so your body can focus its energy on healing and recovery.

Expect some mild tenderness: Just like after a workout, it is completely normal to feel a little muscle soreness or light bruising over the next day or two, especially after deep tissue work.

For Facial Treatments:

Leave your skin bare: Avoid applying any makeup or additional skincare products for at least 6 to 12 hours to allow the professional active ingredients to fully absorb and work their magic.

Cleanse gently: When you do wash your face next, use a very gentle cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh scrubs, washcloths, or exfoliating acids (like AHAs/BHAs) for the next 48 hours.

Stay sun-safe: Your skin will be freshly exfoliated and more sensitive to the sun. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF if you are going outside, and avoid direct sun exposure or sunbeds for at least 48 hours.

Avoid heat treatments: Stay away from saunas, steam rooms, hot hot showers, or chlorinated swimming pools for 24 to 48 hours, as excessive heat and chemicals can irritate freshly treated skin.

Keep your hands away: Avoid touching your face unnecessarily to prevent transferring bacteria to your beautifully clean pores.
